I was born in Solo, Indonesia. It's a beautiful city in Central Java. But I don't remember much of it since I only lived there until I was seven. Since 1987, I live in Jakarta, the Capital of Indonesia. This is where I spent most of my life. I did my undergraduate study in Electrical Engineering Department (Elektro UI), School of Engineering (Teknik UI), University of Indonesia. My major is Computer engineering. I graduated in 1998.
After graduation I worked with Accenture, an IT consulting firm formerly known as Andersen Consulting (No, it's not Arthur Andersen the accounting firm that got into trouble with Enron case). I worked as an analyst and made my way up to consultant level. It was a good, very demanding yet very challenging. However after working for 2 years, I started to feel unfulfilled. So I decided to follow my inner desire: go back to school!
Fall 2001. I started my graduate study in Computer Science Department, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. This is where I am now. Trying to juggle between studying and working as a teaching assistant. I'm hoping to graduate on summer 2003.
